Formworks Systems Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION LEVEL

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma/Certification Course Equivalent (Licensed Engineer is an advantage).

LICENSES

• Certification in Formworks Engineering or Equivalent
• Management Certificate/s

FIELD OF EXPERTISE

• Formworks Engineering and Management

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

• 7 years of experience in formworks engineering and inventory planning and control.

JOB SUMMARY

• The Formworks Systems Manager shall be responsible in the oversight of all company-owned formwork systems – including its inventory, maintenance, repair and other upkeep operations – ensuring that all project sites will have the best available formwork resources available as per approved design.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishment and maintenance of data base for all company-owned formwork systems;
• Development and implementation of policies pertaining to formwork use, storage, maintenance, refurbishment and write-offs;
• Crafting and implementing maintenance procedures for different formwork systems;
• Planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance of formworks;
• Overseeing delivery and receiving, staging, storage, retrieval and pullout of formworks;
• Identifies opportunities to reduce formworks transportation costs and charges;
• Carrying out formworks inspection on site to detect and resolve problems;
• On a regular basis, conducting physical counts of all formworks, both in use and in storage;
• Generating updated inventory of all formwork systems;
• In coordination with the Accounting Department, performs write-offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory;
• Monitoring expenses and controlling the budget for formworks repair and maintenance;
• Keeping records of daily and periodic activities;
• Keeping maintenance and repair logs;
• Preparing periodic maintenance reports and status update;
• Coordinating with formwork system manufacturers and 3rd party maintenance contractors; and
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Allocating workloads and supervising upkeep staff;
• Ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety policies and procedures;
• Manages formwork personnel i.e., formworks custodians and other people both in the central and remote warehouses;
• Trains new team members;
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive;
• Handles discipline of employees, in coordination with the HRD, as needed and in accordance with company policy.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Construction industry is preferred
• Above average oral and written communication skills
• Team player and cooperative
• Fast learner and trainable
• Hardworking and result-oriented
• Safety-oriented
• Physically fit; must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Preferably with a valid Philippine driver’s license
