Forward Deployed AI Engineer - Manager / Senior Manager

• We are hiring a senior hands-on AI engineering leader to own the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions for a leading financial markets infrastructure organisation.
• The role combines deep engineering, solution architecture and stakeholder leadership, with direct accountability for taking AI use cases from discovery to secure production deployment.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver production-grade RAG platforms, LLM-based agents and multi-step agentic workflows.
• Lead technical discovery with business teams, define solution architecture and convert ambiguous requirements into measurable releases.
• Design Python services, APIs, event and data pipelines, retrieval layers, vector or graph database integrations and enterprise system connectors.
• Establish standards for evaluation, guardrails, security, privacy, auditability, observability, cost and performance.
• Own cloud or on-premise deployment patterns using containers and Kubernetes, with CI/CD and MLOps/LLMOps controls.
• Mentor engineers, review architecture and code, manage delivery risks and ensure adoption of deployed solutions.
• Coordinate with information security, infrastructure, data and governance teams in a regulated environment.

Candidate profile:

• 8-12 years of relevant technology experience, including substantial hands-on ownership of production AI or GenAI systems.
• Strong Python, distributed application, API and data engineering fundamentals.
• Deep experience with advanced RAG, agentic AI, LLM evaluation, guardrails and vector or graph databases.
• Proven record of deploying and operating enterprise AI workloads using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD or GitOps.
• Ability to lead stakeholders and engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture and critical implementation.
• Experience in financial services, market infrastructure or another regulated domain is preferred.
• Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or an allied engineering discipline.
