About the role

We need an FDE/AI Solution Consultant who can help us build a new solution to automate parts of the legacy project and processes across the businesses using the latest AI stack and automation capabilities, and help the business deliver better, faster.

Several Finance processes still run on spreadsheets, hand-built documents and email approvals. Core systems are already in place, and anything we build has to integrate with them.

You will own each build end to end: map the process with the business, design the solution, ship it, support it in production and hand it over. You will work inside a small team that already builds AI agents and internal platforms on Google Cloud, so the infrastructure and patterns exist. What we need is someone who picks up a business domain fast and turns it into working tools.

Key responsibilities

You will run the work from discovery to handover with minimal supervision.

• Sit with business teams to map current processes, starting from existing as-is documentation
• Define business rules, thresholds and approval logic with process owners
• Design and build tools end to end data pipelines, LLM prompts or agents, workflows and the user-facing layer
• Integrate with existing business systems, such as ERP, HRIS and CRM
• Build in controls from day one: role-based access, audit trail, test evidence
• Deploy, run UAT, manage rollout and maintain tools in production
• Document everything and hand over so the tools run without you

Must-have experience

We will screen hard on two things together: how quickly you understand a business process, and tools you have personally built, deployed and maintained.

• 4+ years building automation, AI or data solutions for business teams, in an FDE, solutions engineering, technical consulting or similar role
• Builds hands-on: Python and SQL, LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI or similar) and workflow automation (n8n, Power Automate or similar)
• Has deployed and maintained at least one AI or automation tool that real users rely on
• Dashboard experience: choosing the right KPIs, modelling the data and building the views; comfortable building custom HTML/JavaScript dashboards (Power BI, Tableau or Looker background is fine)
• Working knowledge of business processes and enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM) and how data moves between them
• Works directly with business stakeholders and turns loose requirements into a working tool

Nice to have

• Finance domain exposure: an ERP such as SAP or Oracle, order-to-cash, deal or approval processes
• HR systems exposure, such as SAP SuccessFactors
• Google Cloud experience: BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Run
• CRM or CPQ platforms, such as Salesforce
• Programmatic document or slide generation, such as python-pptx or pptxgenjs
