The portfolio spans skilled nursing facilities, primary care & private medical centres to dental, vision, specialist psychological facilities, and one of the largest long term care pharmacies in the US.

🏆 The Opportunity:

A rare seat for an engineer who wants to see their work actually used. You won't be handed tickets or kept at arm's length from the business. You'll sit inside a live operation, work out what's slowing it down, and build the system that fixes it.

The team works "show me, don't tell me." You prototype fast to find what works, then take the winning approach to production. Because the firm owns the businesses, there's no client to sell to and no procurement cycle to wait on. If it works, it ships. Then it spreads across the portfolio. And when something you've built outgrows the portfolio, it can be seed funded and spun out as its own company, with you close to the upside.

For the right person, the path from idea to production is short, and the ownership is yours.

🎉 What You'll Do:

→ Own the architecture: design the system, make the build-versus-reuse calls, and set the patterns the rest of the portfolio inherits.

→ Build and ship production AI systems: agents, LLM workflows, data pipelines, and the monitoring around them.

→ Prototype fast to de-risk a problem, then take the approach that works to production.

→ Lead the rollout across the portfolio.

→ Embed with operators to find what's worth building.

📈 Tech Stack: Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, LLM orchestration, and data pipelines. Claude and Cursor are the primary daily tools.

💎 What You Bring:

6+ years shipping production software, with deep architecture skill and startup experience building something from zero. You design the system and prototype to find the answer instead of waiting for a spec. Hands-on experience running LLMs in production, including evaluation, guardrails, and observability. Fluent across Python, TypeScript, React and AWS, with AI built into how you work every day (Claude Code, Cursor).

You're comfortable owning a problem with no spec handed to you, deciding the approach, and being measured on whether people actually use what you ship. You can also sit with an operator who isn't technical, understand their world, and work out what's worth building.
