Velocity Tech Partners has partnered with a leading global AI and digital engineering consultancy that works with some of the world's largest enterprises to build, deploy and scale intelligent technology solutions.

The organisation has a global team of 500+ specialists across AI, data, software engineering and digital transformation, supporting major enterprise organisations with complex technology and AI initiatives.

They are now expanding their US team and are looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the forefront of Agentic AI.

The Role

This is a highly technical, customer-facing engineering role focused on taking Agentic AI and LLM technologies from development into real-world production environments .

You’ll work directly with enterprise customers, technical leaders and internal engineering teams to design, build and deploy scalable AI platforms that integrate into existing systems, infrastructure and business processes.

You’ll have significant ownership across the full engineering lifecycle — from architecture and development through to deployment, optimisation and ongoing iteration with customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build Agentic AI platforms using Python and modern AI frameworks
• Architect LLM orchestration using technologies such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen and similar frameworks
• Build multi-agent systems incorporating tool use, workflow orchestration, memory and decision-making
• Design and deploy RAG pipelines connected to enterprise data sources
• Integrate AI platforms with APIs, data platforms, cloud services and enterprise applications
• Configure Kubernetes and deploy production workloads
• Design deployment architectures across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and solve complex business problems
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout delivery
• Help customers move AI initiatives from experimentation into scalable production environments

What We're Looking For

• Significant commercial experience operating at Senior Engineer level — typically 8+ years
• Strong Python engineering experience
• Proven experience building production AI/ML or LLM applications
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI and multi-agent architectures
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar
• Strong experience with RAG and enterprise AI implementations
• Experience working with Kubernetes and cloud environments
• Ability to design and deploy solutions across cloud, on-premise or hybrid infrastructure
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with enterprise customers
• A consulting mindset and experience delivering complex technical projects
• Comfortable working in an environment where requirements evolve quickly and solutions are developed directly with end users

Nice to Have

• Hands-on Golang experience
• React / frontend development experience
• Deep Kubernetes expertise
