About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer , you will work closely with pre-sales and post-sales Customer Experience teams to build and deploy solutions on an AI-native platform using TypeScript, JavaScript, Python , and related technologies. You will play a key role in building Knowledge Graphs, AI agents, integrations, and workflow automations that connect the platform with customers’ SaaS and non-SaaS systems through APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.

What You'll Do

• Customer-facing: Spend approximately 30% of your time working directly with customers .
• Coding & Integration: Spend 70–80% of your time on hands-on technical implementation .
• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, integrations, and automations connecting customer systems and workflows.
• Build integrations with SaaS and non-SaaS platforms using REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven architectures .
• Apply prompt engineering, semantic search, RAG, and generative AI techniques to improve AI performance.
• Write SQL queries, perform data analysis, and build dashboards to generate actionable customer insights.
• Rapidly develop POCs, prototypes, and technical demonstrations and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and customers .
• Guide customers through technical adoption, integrations, configurations, and advanced workflows.
• Travel up to 30% for customer implementations, workshops, and technical engagements.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python ; Go is a plus.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and AI agent evaluation .
• Strong experience with API integrations, data synchronization, REST/GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven architectures .
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, serverless platforms, CI/CD, containers, and observability .
• Strong understanding of data mapping, schema alignment, data modeling, and heterogeneous systems .
• Experience building AI-powered, context-aware systems and integrations , including MCP concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and unblock complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to engineers, product teams, customers, and business stakeholders .
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused AI environment .
