About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer you ll work on delivering world class Voice AI Agents for our customers. You will work in AI-native teams & will be expected to move at the speed of thought.

You ll leverage SquadStack platform to configure, fine-tune & architect state of the art AI Agents. You will act as a conduit between product, customer success & engineering teams. You ll work very closely with customers to make AI Agents a BIG success for them.

Where youll be doing

• Work with sales & pre-sales teams. Rapidly build customer-specific POCs during sales cycles. Scale POCs to large scale agentic deployments, demonstrating outcomes (CAC reduction, conversion uplifts etc.)
• Own full life cycle of building agents. Customer collaboration > Defining Agent outcomes > Agent Config & Prompt design > Testing > Deployment & data pipelining > Monitoring > Iterate
• Travel & work from customer office to fastrack AI Agent deployments.
• Act as a technical conduit between customers needs & SquadStack platform
• Push on-ground learnings upstream. (product inputs & debriefs)
• Develop runbooks, code templates, and training sessions for customer facing teams, ensuring self-sufficiency post-handoff.

Requirements

• AI-native mindset
• Strong demand side thinker (JTBD) with product taste. You are not merely implementation focussed.
• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
• 1-4 years of experience in software development & AI applications. Strong hold over at least one programming language.
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering patterns
• Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience
• Comfortable working fullstack. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• You possess a T-shaped breadth and depth skill set required to dive deep into any subject and coordinate between Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product and Engineering to figure out solutions.
• Familiarity with the relevant domains would be a plus (AI Agents, RAGs, Python, data security etc.)
