The Role

You'll embed directly with an enterprise client's business team, determine what's worth building, and ship it to production — standalone, with weekly direction check-ins instead of a dedicated product owner. There's no pre-written spec. You scope it, build it, and own it through adoption.

First engagement: the client's START program, which onboards new franchise owners to operational profitability. Stack is Azure, .NET, and React. The client's platform team provisions infrastructure; you own the build and deploy.

What You'll Do

• Embed with the business owner, map the current process, and determine what's worth building
• Scope, design, build, and ship the solution end-to-end
• Make day-to-day product and build decisions independently
• Apply AI where it adds real value (agents, LLMs, RAG) — a deterministic build is an equally valid outcome
• Run real sprints and leave the client's team able to operate the solution after handoff

What You Need

• Several years shipping production software as a full-stack engineer, with real command of fundamentals, not pattern familiarity
• Full-stack range across backend, frontend, and data layer. Client stack is Azure/.NET/React; strong Node or Python full-stack engineers are accepted if they can integrate and own the whole build
• Demonstrated ability to operate in undefined problem spaces and scope independently
• Clear communication with senior business stakeholders — you extract requirements by sitting with people, not waiting for docs
• Hands-on experience shipping AI/LLM/agent solutions to production, not just experimenting

Nice to Have

• Agent frameworks, RAG, MCP, or eval tooling experience
• Consulting, product, or ops background alongside engineering
• Enterprise delivery in regulated or complex environments (healthcare, finance)
• Azure AI / Azure OpenAI familiarity; comfortable reading an existing .NET codebase
