Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $176,700 – $302,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare clients to identify strategic priorities and challenges
• Lead discovery sessions and solution design engagements with stakeholders
• Guide clients on applying AI/ML to healthcare use cases
• Design scalable and compliant AI-powered solutions for the healthcare industry
• Build and deploy production-grade AI applications and workflows
• Collaborate across teams to ensure client solutions are reusable and scalable
• Drive measurable outcomes from initial engagements to full production deployments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in deploying distributed systems and cloud-native solutions
• 7+ years of experience in a consulting capacity, with a focus on developing and delivering solutions
• Experience in client-facing roles, collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions
• Proficient in building and deploying AI/ML solutions, particularly with LLMs and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong stakeholder management skills with effective communication abilities
