About the Role

We’re partnering with a high-growth healthcare technology company building the AI Operating System for healthcare. Their platform and products support the full care journey, from AI and clinical documentation to intelligent workflow agents and autonomous revenue-cycle management.

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with healthcare customers and bring AI-native software into real-world clinical and operational environments. This is a highly hands-on, customer-facing engineering role for someone who enjoys moving between product development, technical problem-solving, deployment, and client collaboration.

You’ll have meaningful ownership from problem discovery through implementation and production deployment, with the opportunity to see the impact of your work firsthand.

What You'll Do

• Partner directly with customers to understand technical requirements, workflows, constraints, and business objectives.
• Design and build tailored software solutions that address real-world customer needs.
• Own technical work across implementation, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer problems into scalable product improvements.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges that emerge during customer implementations.
• Build and improve documentation that supports onboarding, deployments, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Stay current on relevant technologies, technical standards, and regulatory considerations that may influence solution design.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to build alongside users, support deployments, and demonstrate solutions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar role
• Strong foundation in full-stack software development and system design.
• Hands-on programming experience with technologies such as Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
• Experience building 0 -> 1

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose issues in complex environments.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with customers and technical stakeholders.

Work Policy

This is a full-time role with remote flexibility. The position requires the ability to travel to customer sites periodically, with expected travel of up to approximately 20%.

You’ll work closely with customers as well as internal engineering and product teams, so adaptability and comfort moving between hands-on development, technical problem-solving, and customer conversations are important.
