Forward Deployed Engineer (Technical Architect)

For our client, we are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Technical Architect) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will partner directly with customers to translate complex requirements into practical, production-ready software solutions. You will act as both a technical architect and hands-on builder, helping shape AI-assisted delivery from initial specification through deployment and stabilization.

The position requires strong systems design judgment, clear communication with stakeholders, and the ability to turn emerging tools into reliable enterprise outcomes. You will also contribute reusable assets, support follow-on opportunities, and help ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and compliant.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $170,000 – $210,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Capture and translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions
• Structure specifications and acceptance criteria for AI-assisted software development
• Lead production integration, ensuring accountability through deployment and stabilization
• Ensure that solutions are maintainable and supportable by the team
• Deliver production-ready solutions compatible with modern deployment practices and compliance regulations
• Create reusable assets and identify opportunities for follow-on work

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering and manual coding
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 6+ years delivering software solutions
• Experience building an end-to-end application with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Copilot
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise software delivery and integration
• Architect-level expertise in systems design with fluency across multiple technology domains
• Experience generating complete solutions primarily through AI-assisted development
• Ability to read and verify generated code for safety and correctness
• Strong customer communication skills for engaging with stakeholders
