Forward Deployed Engineer (TS/SCI Poly Required)

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to help customers solve complex technical challenges and bring cloud and AI solutions into production. This role combines hands-on engineering, solution architecture, and direct customer collaboration, with ownership from initial discovery through deployment.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build and deploy cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Develop AI integrations and workflows using technologies such as LLMs, model APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Own proofs of concept, troubleshoot deployment challenges, and guide solutions into production.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to turn customer feedback into product improvements.
• Travel occasionally to the Washington, D.C. area for customer meetings and technical working sessions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience building or deploying applications using AI technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or a similar language.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and work directly with customers.
• Comfort navigating ambiguous requirements, solving problems independently, and owning delivery.
• Availability for occasional travel to the Washington, D.C. area.

Nice to Have

• Experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing software engineering.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, networking, and cloud security.
• Experience supporting enterprise, government, or regulated customers.
• Need to currently hold a TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance
