Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with clients to understand their technical requirements and translate them into effective system designs.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure services on platforms like AWS, optimizing for performance, security, and scalability.
• Apply best practices in software development including version control (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
• Conduct system design reviews focusing on scalability, security (RBAC), and high availability for enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems involving SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Engage in front-end development using frameworks such as React or Express to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting new technologies like quantum engineering concepts or advanced programming techniques when applicable.

Experience

• Proven experience in software engineering roles with a focus on system design for scalable systems in cloud environments.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure management including cloud services (AWS, Azure) and on-premises setups.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and web development frameworks.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or SQL Server along with version control tools such as GitHub or SVN.
• Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript frameworks like React or Express.js for full-stack development.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and clients while demonstrating a proactive problem-solving approach.

Pay: $104,672.44 - $365,842.08 per year
