FORWARDING EXECUTIVE [ URGENT]

About the role

As a Forwarding Executive, you will play a crucial role in the freight and cargo forwarding operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to our valued clients. This full-time position is based in Johor and offers the opportunity to be part of a growing company in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of freight and cargo shipments, including bookings, documentation, and tracking
• Liaise with carriers, customs authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transportation of goods
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
• Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to clients
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain
• Maintain accurate records and data related to all freight and cargo movements
• Collaborate with the wider team to optimise logistics processes and improve customer service

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a freight or cargo forwarding role
• Excellent knowledge of freight and cargo forwarding processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
• A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
