Foundation Stage Worker

Permanent, term time, 14 hrs per week over 5 days

Grade B, Scale Points 4-5. £8,250 - £8,380 Annually (Actual)

Bickleigh Down CofE Primary School is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Foundation Stage Worker to join our Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our youngest learners during a crucial stage of their development and make a real difference to children's educational and personal growth.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement agreed practice with individuals and groups of children, inside and outside the Foundation Stage unit
• Work with the teacher and senior staff in the observation, assessment and planning cycle and to manage and prepare resources
• Engage with and support children’s learning and generally support children with set activities, independent problem solving and creative play.
• Supervise children during school hours including lunchtimes.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, flexible and collaborative approach to working as part of a team.
