STOIX is an executive search firm with deep specialism in board-level, financial leadership and transformation hires. A purpose-driven B Corp, we focus on long-term, results-driven partnerships with both high-growth and established businesses across EMEA and the US. Our size and focus give us genuine agility and deep functional knowledge, without the conflict restrictions of the larger firms.

This role sits at the centre of the business. You will work directly with the founders across four areas: search delivery, business development, growth and marketing, and internal operations. We are heavy users of various AI tools including Claude, and this hire is partly about finding someone who can push that further.

What you will actually do

• Support live searches: research, candidate engagement, drafting briefing packs and communications.
• Drive growth: podcast, LinkedIn presence, creative use of the STOIX network for BD.
• Keep things moving: project management, closing loops, nothing falls through the cracks.
• In time, for the right person, scope to represent STOIX directly with candidates and clients.

Who we are looking for

We are open on where you are in your career. You might be earlier in your professional journey, with a year or two of experience and a hunger to learn fast. You might be more experienced and looking for a 3 to 4 day role in a high-quality, high-energy environment. What matters more than your seniority is who you are.

The non-negotiables

• Insatiably curious. You read widely, ask better questions than most, and go three levels deeper than anyone expects.
• High agency and proactivity. You identify what needs doing and you do it. You do not wait.
• You have hustled. Worked in a bar, a restaurant, retail, on a market stall, or any job that required you to show up, work hard, and earn it.
• You have interests and achievements outside of work that you have pursued to a high standard - sport, music, or something else entirely. You know what it means to commit to something and be good at it.
• Ideally, 1 to 2 years in B2B professional services (consulting, finance, law, advisory, or similar), with some start-up or early-stage exposure.
• A clear, confident writer. You know how to draft a precise email and keep things concise.
• Reliable with the basics. You close loops, hit deadlines, and do not drop balls.
• You enjoy and are confident using AI tools and think carefully about how to use them well.
• Right to work in the UK.

Salary: £28,000 to £48,000 depending on experience, with a performance bonus. Flexible on hours and structure for the right person. Farringdon, London. Hybrid, office-first.
