Founding Account Executive – AI / Software

Location: New York

We’re partnering with an ambitious AI software business looking to hire a Founding Account Executive to help build its enterprise sales function from the ground up.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven seller who enjoys winning new business, working closely with founders and shaping how a company goes to market.

The role

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
• Build pipeline from scratch and develop relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Translate complex AI and software capabilities into clear business value.
• Help define the ideal customer profile, sales messaging and repeatable sales process.
• Partner with product and technical teams to deliver compelling demos and bring customer feedback into product development.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record of selling SaaS, AI or enterprise software to large organisations.
• Strong quota attainment and experience closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.
• Confidence generating your own pipeline and opening new accounts.
• A consultative approach, with the ability to build compelling business cases and engage executive buyers.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in an early-stage environment.
• Based in New York or willing to relocate.
