About KETUPA

KETUPA is an AI Shopping Agent implementation, optimization, and reliability and assurance company.

We work with the AI Shopping Agent and commerce stack merchants already use, helping them launch, improve, and operate AI-powered shopping experiences across product discovery, recommendations, customer service, and commerce workflows.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on commerce implementation leader who can take merchant requirements all the way to production.

You’ll work across:

Merchant teams → AI platforms → commerce systems → KETUPA engineering

This is not a strategy-only or project-management role. You should be comfortable personally inspecting systems, configuring platforms, working with product data, testing workflows, troubleshooting integrations, and helping ship production changes.

What You’ll Do

• Understand merchant ecommerce, CX, product, and operational requirements.

• Review catalogs, feeds, product data, policies, knowledge, and current Agent behavior.

• Configure and optimize AI Agent platforms, workflows, Actions, routing, and handoffs.

• Work across Shopify/ecommerce, PIM, inventory, OMS, returns, subscriptions, CRM, APIs, and related systems.

• Improve pre-purchase journeys such as qualification, recommendations, ranking, fit, compatibility, product cards, and CTAs.

• Improve post-purchase automation such as orders, returns, cancellations, refunds, and escalation.

• Test changes, support staging and launch, and review production performance.

• Turn repeated delivery work into reusable playbooks, tooling, and eventually KETUPA software.

Who We’re Looking For

You have personally implemented commerce, ecommerce, CX, or customer-facing technology — not only managed teams that did it.

Relevant backgrounds may include:

• Commerce Solutions Architect

• Senior Solutions Consultant

• Ecommerce Implementation Lead

• Ecommerce Technology Lead

• Shopify Plus Solutions Architect

• CX / AI Automation Implementation Lead

• Technical Product Manager with strong hands-on implementation experience

You should understand modern commerce systems and be comfortable with configuration, data, workflows, APIs, integrations, testing, and production troubleshooting.

Direct AI Shopping experience is a strong plus, but not required. We care more about hands-on commerce implementation experience and the ability to learn quickly.

Experience with platforms such as Gorgias, Bloomreach, Rep, Sierra, Decagon, Shopify, Salesforce, Zendesk, Intercom, Constructor, or Nosto is valuable.

This is not primarily a:

• Customer Success role

• Project Manager role

• Strategy-only Product role

• Account Management role

• Pure software engineering role
