The Tech & Work:

• Completely own backend platforms processing real-time operational events

• Architect and scale systems using Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS

• Solve distributed challenges: concurrent writes, out-of-order events, and bounded latency

• Integrate modern cloud systems with deeply legacy, uncooperative third-party data feeds

• Go on-site to observe live operations and collaborate directly with end-users

Hard Filters:

✅ 3+ years of production backend engineering experience

✅ Deep, demonstrable expertise in Python, AWS, and PostgreSQL

✅ Strong background building event-driven architectures and robust state machines

✅ Ability to work fully on-site in Central London
