Salient Group

A fast-growing, well-funded global AI company is building its Vietnam business from the ground up and hiring a Founding CTO to lead the technical side of it.
What you’ll do

Lead the technical side of the sales cycle: run product demos, build proofs of concept, and shape the solution architecture for enterprise clients

Own the architecture and delivery of enterprise AI deployments, end to end

Build and lead the Vietnam engineering team from zero

Grow and lead a lean engineering and delivery team

Stay hands-on and close to the code while setting direction

Partner directly with senior stakeholders across banking, insurance and other sectors

What we’re looking for

10+ years in engineering, including senior technical leadership

A genuine builder: founder or startup background, or a strong senior engineer or tech lead from a top global tech company

Track record shipping and deploying production systems, ideally AI or ML

Experience leading technical pre-sales, demos or POCs

Comfortable holding your own with senior enterprise stakeholders

Fluent Vietnamese and English

Based in Vietnam, or open to relocating there

Based outside Vietnam? Relocation is on the table. We’ll put together a competitive package with meaningful equity on top. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to come home and build something from zero, this is it.
