Founding Engineer

Talentir is building the financial infrastructure for the creator and gig economy.

Agencies, management firms, and platforms move large volumes of money across borders — but the tooling around revenue collection, reconciliation, and payouts is still slow, fragmented, and painfully manual. We’re fixing that.

Talentir helps companies manage revenues and send payouts at scale using stablecoin-based infrastructure. Our goal is simple: make moving money for internet-native businesses as fast, global, and programmable as the internet itself.

We’re a small team of fewer than 10 people. We move quickly, talk to customers constantly, and ship with urgency. We’re looking for a Founding Engineer who wants to build a company from the ground up — not just join one.

You’ll work directly with the founders to build the core product and technical foundation of the company.

This is a true 0→1 role. You’ll:

• Build our product from scratch across the full stack
• Own key technical decisions, architecture, and implementation
• Ship customer-facing features fast and iterate from real feedback
• Build internal systems for revenue tracking, reconciliation, and payouts
• Develop integrations with platforms like YouTube and TikTok
• Build blockchain-based payout infrastructure using stablecoins on Base
• Help define engineering culture, tooling, and how we work as a team
• Use AI-native workflows and agentic tools to move faster and increase output

You won’t be handed tickets. You’ll help decide what gets built.

We care much more about ability than pedigree.

You might be a fit if you:

• Have built and shipped serious products from scratch
• Are highly fluent in TypeScript and comfortable owning the full stack
• Have strong product instinct and care about building things users actually want
• Can move fast without creating unnecessary complexity
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and like figuring things out
• Have experience with modern web tooling like Next.js, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Vercel, and GitHub-based workflows
• Have hands-on experience with blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, wallets, or stablecoin payment systems
• Already use tools like Cursor, Copilot, or autonomous coding workflows as part of how you build
• Want high ownership, high autonomy, and high accountability

You’ve worked on fintech, B2B SaaS, creator tools, or crypto products

You’ve built on Base or worked with onchain payment flows

You’ve worked in a startup with real speed and resource constraints

You have a side project, OSS work, or something you’ve built that shows taste and execution

Massive ownership — substantial equity and direct influence on the company

Real autonomy — no layers, no bureaucracy, no PM handoffs

Small team, high velocity — you’ll work closely with the founders and ship constantly

Meaningful problem — we’re solving painful, global money movement problems for a fast-growing market

Room to grow — this can evolve into a leadership or CTO track over time
