Role: Founding AI/ML - Speech & NLP Engineer

Focus: Al × Hospitality × Voice Technology x Speech Recognition x NLP x LLMs x Voice AI

Stage: Pre-seed / Pre-funding

Location: Philadelphia - Must be commutable to Philadelphia, Pa due to onsite testing requirements

Hours: 20 hours/week

Compensation: Equity / stock options; cash compensation currently unavailable until funding

Opportunity to transition into a paid position following funding

About TNA.ioTNA.io is an Agentic Bartending Copilot Platform

• What you will do: Build and evaluate speech to text pipelines

• Work with models/ APIs

• Develop bartender specific vocabulary and language models

• Build NLP/NLU pipelines that translate spoken commands into structured actions.

• Ideal Candidate: Masters in CS, AI/ML, Data Science or related field

• Python experience

• Mastery with machine learning fundamentals, NLP, and speech recognition

• Experience working with APIs and model inference

• Additional Necessary Skills: Whispr

• Deepgram

• OpenAi/ LLM APIs

• Hugging Face

• PyTorch

• Transformers

• Speech enhancement

• Audio processing

• Vector databases

• RAG

• Intent classification

• Named entity recognition
