An early-stage technology company in Denver is looking for an exceptional operator/executor to work directly with the founder and help get a substantial technology platform across the finish line and into market.

The product is largely built, the vision and strategy are clear, and early market feedback has been highly encouraging. What we need now is someone who is unusually good at turning a lot of moving pieces into forward motion.

The Role

This is a highly hands-on role with exposure to virtually every aspect of building and launching a company: product, technology, operations, partnerships, vendors, research, launch planning, QA, process development, and whatever else needs to happen to move the business forward.

The founder has a background in banking in New York and brings deep knowledge of the business, product, customers, strategy, and vision. Your job is to help convert that knowledge into organized, relentless execution.

If your instinct when you see a messy, 40-item list is to organize it, prioritize it, assign it, and start knocking things off rather than schedule a meeting to discuss it, you'll probably thrive here.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who:

• Creates structure from ambiguity
• Figures out what needs to happen next without waiting to be told
• Has experience helping launch products, businesses, or major initiatives
• Can work effectively with developers and translate business needs into action
• Tracks down blockers and relentlessly follows through
• Is comfortable moving between high-level problem solving and very tactical execution
• Exercises good judgment and knows when to make a decision versus escalate one
• Will challenge the founder when necessary and protect the company's priorities
• Cares much more about getting something finished than appearing busy

We expect strong candidates may have backgrounds in startups, technology, product, operations, consulting, fintech, marketplaces, or other highly cross-functional environments. We're more interested in what you've actually built, launched, fixed, or driven across the finish line than in a particular title.

The Opportunity

Because the company is approaching launch, certain details of the business model, users, economics, and proprietary platform mechanics are being kept confidential during the initial recruiting process. Candidates who advance will receive additional information after signing an NDA.

The role will begin as a paid contract engagement. However, for the right person, the opportunity is much bigger: the potential to become one of the company's earliest full-time hires, earn equity, take on a significant leadership role, and have an unusual amount of influence over how a company is built from the ground level.
