🚀 Looking for a Founding Technical Partner / Potential CTO — Initially Equity-Only

I’m working with a business partner to build B2B software for one specific, established service industry , and we’re looking for an experienced developer to join us as our founding technical partner.

What we bring

My partner brings decades of firsthand industry experience and an understanding of the workflows, challenges and gaps in existing systems.

My background is in creative strategy, media production, marketing, customer acquisition and business systems. I’ll focus on positioning, bringing the product to market and developing the processes needed to acquire and support customers.

What already exists

We’ve developed an early application using Lovable, React, TypeScript and Supabase , with foundational work across dashboards, user management, internal workflows and automation.

I’ve also started documenting the architecture, known issues and technical decisions to make the handoff easier.

It needs an experienced engineering assessment before we can call it production-ready. We’re open to improving or rebuilding what needs it, and we want your technical judgment to influence the product.

What you’d do

• Evaluate the existing codebase, architecture and security.

• Identify risks and establish a practical development roadmap with us.

• Lead hands-on development toward an initial commercial pilot.

• Help make decisions about infrastructure, deployment, testing and long-term maintenance.

Who we’re hoping to meet

Someone strong in React, TypeScript, Supabase/PostgreSQL and full-stack development , with practical experience in authentication, database permissions, application security, hosting and deployment.

You don’t need to be a specialist in every area. We’re looking for someone who can take technical ownership, explain tradeoffs clearly and recognize when additional expertise is needed.

The partnership

This is an initially equity-only opportunity, with no guaranteed salary .

We’re exploring 5–10% ownership equity , depending on experience, availability, responsibilities and long-term contribution. This is a potential negotiating range, not guaranteed equity. Final ownership, vesting, decision-making authority and legal terms would be agreed upon with the selected partner.

Weekly availability would be discussed together. The potential CTO role would develop with the partnership and company; it isn’t a guaranteed title.

We’re early-stage, and there’s real risk involved. We’re looking for someone interested in helping build a company and shaping its technical direction.
