Foundry Engineer

Job Title: Foundry Maintenance Engineer / TechnicianKey Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of foundry equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot melting furnaces (Induction Furnace / Cupola Furnace).
• Handle maintenance of molding machines, core shooting machines, sand mixers, and sand handling systems.
• Maintain shot blasting machines, grinding machines, conveyors, compressors, and dust collection systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
• Inspect and maintain motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, belts, chains, and couplings.
• Carry out regular lubrication and replacement of worn-out parts.
• Minimize equipment downtime and improve machine availability and productivity.
• Prepare and follow Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and checklists.
• Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities without affecting production.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and raise requirements for critical spares.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including PPE, LOTO, and safe maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and daily activity reports.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and energy efficiency.

Preferred Qualification

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
