Foundry Multi-Process Operations Trainee

Step into a day on our production floor

From your first week, you’ll be learning how a modern foundry runs. You’ll rotate through key stations—melting, casting, mold prep, wheel prep, materials movement, and facility housekeeping—so you understand how each part of the process connects. You’ll support whatever the production departments need, growing your skills with hands-on training and guidance.

This is an entry-level role designed to progress into other essential foundry jobs through bidding, training, and qualification. Until you successfully bid into a permanent post, management may reassign you to different areas to match production priorities. There is a 90-day probationary period.

Shifts and scheduling

• Opening is for A-Shift (Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am) and C Shift (Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm)
• 24/7 operation: be available for any shift, weekends, and overtime beyond 8 hours when required

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial processes
• Ability to learn Statistical Process Control Methods
• Strong work ethic, initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and dependability; team-first mindset
• Physical stamina: frequent bending, lifting, standing for long periods, pushing, and pulling
• Can lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Reliable transportation

Pre-employment and background

Candidates should have reliable transportation, be able to pass a pre-employment respirator use exam, background check, and drug screen. Experience working in the metals industry is a plus.
