What they need
The Opportunity
Are you a commercially minded finance professional who wants to do more than report the numbers?
This is a genuine opportunity to join a well-established, product-based business in a key FP&A role, at a time when the finance function is evolving and growing. Working closely with Finance, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain, you'll provide the insight that supports decision-making, improves profitability and drives performance.
This role would suit someone newly qualified or nearing CA/CPA who wants the opportunity to build their commercial capability, have genuine input and continue developing their career.
About the Role You will be responsible for:
- Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, including financial modelling and variance analysis.
- Analysing financial performance, pricing and margins, partnering with Operations and Supply Chain to understand key drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
- Producing monthly management reporting, KPI dashboards and insightful commentary, while building and developing Power BI reports rather than simply using existing outputs.
What You'll Bring We're looking for someone with:
- 3–4 years' experience across FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance, ideally within a manufacturing or product-based environment.
- Newly qualified or nearing completion of a CA/CPA qualification, ideally with a degree in Accounting, Finance or another numerically focused field.
- Advanced Excel and strong Power BI capability, with the ability to build and develop reports and dashboards and turn financial data into meaningful insights.
The Person
This role is suited to someone proactive and improvement-focused, who doesn't wait to be directed and takes the initiative to bring ideas to the table. You'll enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers, questioning assumptions and finding smarter ways of working.
You'll be a credible communicator, able to present financial insight clearly to senior, non-finance stakeholders. You'll have the confidence to go beyond reporting the numbers, challenge assumptions, ask good questions and help the business understand what the data means for decision-making.
Above all, you'll be genuinely invested in building your career in finance. You're someone who takes ownership, brings energy and commitment to the team and wants to make a meaningful contribution.
Why This Role?
This is a chance to have real influence: to identify improvements, develop better processes and use tools like Power BI to enhance the way finance supports the wider business.
You'll join a hands-on, collaborative team where your contribution will be visible, build strong relationships across the business and play an important role in supporting the finance function through a period of change and growth.
It's an opportunity to take your FP&A career forward while doing work that has a genuine impact.
