FP&A Analyst

JOB OBJECTIVE:

• To Prepare and Analyse the Budget and Rolling Forecast in a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Basis including preparation of Financial Model for Business

KEY OBJECTIVE:

Description

-Monthly Analysis

• Preparation and Monthly Analysis of Assigned Areas such as Chilled Water, Corporate Overheads and Finance Cost
• Liasoning with Accounts Department for Month End and Period End Closing

-Performance Indicators

• Timely Analysis and Submission

-Budget:

• Development of Budget Template.
• Preparation, Compilation and Analysis of Department Budget including Capital Budget.
• Discussion and Finalization of Budget.
• Updating of Budget in SAP / SAC.
• Monitoring and Control of Budget using SAP / SAC.

-Rolling Forecast / Forecast:

• Preparation of Forecast / rolling Forecast in Co-ordination with respective stakeholders.
• Consolidation of Forecast
• Finalization of Forecast

-Performance Indicators

• Timely Analysis and Submission

-Fixed Asset and Depreciation

• Analysis of Monthly and Periodical Depreciation including Capex
• Reconciliation of the same with SAP

-Performance Indicators

• Timely Analysis and Submission

-Inventory Control:

• Analysis of Inventory aging
• Analysis for Optimization of Inventory Cost

-Performance Indicators

• Timely Analysis and Submission

-Cost Control

• Analysis of overheads and establishing a mechanism for cost control
• Review of cost and its analysis

-Performance Indicators

• Timely Analysis and Submission

-Policies & Procedures

• Follows all relevant Department/Unit policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Ensuring the organization adheres to legal frameworks in areas such as discipline & grievance, redundancy, and employment law.
• Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Development of SOP and other policy

-Performance Indicators

• Guidance and support in HR Policies & Procedures
• Audit of compliance to operational procedures and instructions.

-Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

-Performance Indicators

• Guidance and support in HSE policy
• Report any safety incidents and near misses

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Commerce.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role primarily in the FP&A in a large or complex organization.
