FP&A Controller - OPEX & CAPEX (m/f)

Own Company-Wide Cost and Investment Steering – and Build an AI-Native Controlling Function

Manor AG, Switzerland’s leading department store group (food and non-food, stores and online), is transforming its Finance and Controlling team. We are looking for an FP&A Controller to own OPEX and CAPEX steering for the whole company: someone who anticipates rather than reacts, builds structures that make it easy for the business to run, and uses automation and AI to build an AI-native controlling function.

💡 Your role:

• Planning cycles: lead company-wide OPEX and CAPEX budget, rolling forecasts and medium-term plan, including CAPEX business cases, approvals and post-investment reviews
• MEC/YEC: own the OPEX and CAPEX closing (accruals, provisions, allocations, capitalization) and group reporting to headquarters in Switzerland
• Deviations and risks: explain the drivers behind every material deviation, anticipate risks early and turn them into actions and forecast updates
• Financial architecture: design cost center and project structures, allocation keys and KPIs that keep costs and investments under control
• Follow-up culture: run regular budget-owner reviews with clear action tracking, accountability and a forward-looking focus
• AI-native controlling: automate reporting and reconciliations and deploy AI agents for variance commentary, forecasting and anomaly detection

🔍 What we are looking for:

• 4 years in FP&A, Controlling, Corporate Finance, Audit or Consulting, ideally with OPEX/CAPEX ownership

• Proven track record in planning cycles, forecasting and month-end/year-end closing
• Ownership mindset, proactive and structured, with the confidence to challenge budget owners and senior management
• Advanced Excel and Power BI; hands-on automation experience (Power Query, Python, SQL or similar); SAP know-how preferred
• Genuine passion for AI and agentic tools, with concrete ideas on how to apply them in controlling
• Fluent English; German or French is a plus
