Company Description:

Our manufacturing client is seeking an FP&A Director to build the FP&A function for a rapidly growing organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will drive financial strategy, business intelligence, and capital planning during a period of significant expansion, and offers direct exposure to the CEO and executive leadership. The ideal candidate must have strong financial modeling skills, hands-on PowerBI experience, and a background in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and scale the FP&A function to support the company's accelerated revenue growth.
• Partner with the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership to connect financial planning with operational strategy and execution.
• Lead the design and implementation of a centralized data warehouse that integrates legacy operational systems with the ERP.
• Develop automated PowerBI dashboards that consolidate data from multiple sources into real-time business intelligence.
• Perform price and mix analysis to improve margins and inform pricing strategy while protecting sales volume.
• Model and evaluate major capital investment projects, including ROI analysis and post-investment performance tracking.
• Build financial models and provide analytical support for a new accounts receivable securitization facility.
• Create monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and clear executive commentary.
• Define and monitor KPIs that link operational drivers to financial results and strategic goals.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Distribution leaders to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support inventory optimization, cost management, and standard cost variance analysis across a diverse product portfolio.
• Analyze profitability trends by customer program and product line to surface margin expansion opportunities.
• Conduct scenario planning and financial modeling for potential acquisitions and capacity expansion initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive FP&A leadership experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is required
• Private equity-backed company experience is highly desired
• Advanced financial modeling experience is highly desired
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI and building data warehouse or reporting infrastructure
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to collaborate across operations and executive leadership to translate data into actionable business decisions
