FP&A Manager

For our client, we are seeking a FP&A Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead core financial planning processes that shape business visibility, resource allocation, and decision-making across the organization.

The position owns forecasting, annual planning, and scenario analysis, with a strong emphasis on translating business drivers into clear financial insights.

It also partners closely with department leaders and executive stakeholders to support reporting, headcount planning, and board-level materials.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own revenue forecasting methodology and oversee monthly reforecasting cycles
• Develop and maintain annual operating plan financial models
• Perform headcount planning and expense forecasting across departments
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for business drivers
• Deliver detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis with actionable insights
• Collaborate with business leaders for targeted analytics support
• Prepare board reporting materials with financial narratives and key insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and forecasting independently
• Expert in Excel modeling with ability to build complex financial models from scratch
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude for enhancing financial tasks
• Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics, including ARR and churn dynamics
• Experience with financial systems, preferably NetSuite, and proficiency in SQL is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on business drivers and strategic implications
