Fractional CFO

About the Role

As Fractional CFO, you’ll spend around two days a week reviewing financials, holding us to account, and setting course for our finance team. Bring your governance-focused finance leadership to a values-led, third-generation Australian business with real growth ahead, without being in the day-to-day.

Duties

• Review monthly financials and reporting to provide assurance to the leadership team
• Set financial strategy across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, risk, and compliance
• Lead preparation of longer-range forecasts to support strategic planning and growth
• Present budgets and financial accounts to key stakeholders, financiers, and banks
• Guide the business through growth and change, including site consolidation

Skills & Experience

• CA or CPA qualification with a degree in Commerce or Accounting
• Substantial experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a board-level finance role
• Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production with plant/cost accounting experience
• Strong governance, risk, and compliance background with ability to review financials critically
• Coaching leadership style: available, supportive, and trusting rather than hands-on
