Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framer Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings wood framing, ensuring precision and safety on every project. Your expertise will contribute to the successful erection of durable, high-quality structures that meet all design specifications and building codes. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects.
• Erect metal building frameworks, including metal stud framing and steel structures, ensuring alignment and stability.
• Install concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structures with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform rebar installation to reinforce concrete elements according to specifications.
• Execute drywall installation, plastering, and trim carpentry tasks to achieve smooth finishes.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently during framing and construction activities.
• Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure accurate framing and layout.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Assist with remodeling projects by dismantling existing structures and constructing new frameworks as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while following safety guidelines at all times.

Skills

• Extensive experience in metal building erection, framing, and masonry work.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise construction execution.
• Strong knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques.
• Skilled in welding, woodworking, drywall installation, plastering, and trim carpentry.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Competence in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential equipment.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning.
• Experience with construction management practices to coordinate tasks effectively on-site.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing techniques for commercial or industrial projects.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
