Duties

• Erect buildings, including framing and structural assembly, following detailed blueprints and technical drawings sometimes
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely for framing, carpentry, and trim work
• Read construction plans thoroughly to interpret specifications for wood stud framing, and remodeling projects
• Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of building components
• Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate heavy lifting, frame carpentry, and site safety protocols

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site environments with hands-on work in wood building erection
• Strong background in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for various construction disciplines
• Skilled in woodworking
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, tape measure proficiency, and basic math skills necessary for precise measurements
• Experience in remodeling projects or trim carpentry is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction
• Knowledge of construction plans related to wood stud framing procedures is highly desirable
