We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our dynamic construction team. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision, safety, and quality in every project. Your expertise in metal building erection, wood framing, and interpreting technical drawings will help bring architectural visions to life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial to residential structures, while honing your craftsmanship and contributing to high-quality construction outcomes.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct frameworks according to specifications
• Erect metal buildings, steel studs, and wood framing with precision using hand tools and power tools
• Install rebar and prepare concrete forms for foundations and structural elements
• Perform drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and siding work as needed for finishing touches
• Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large materials or structural components
• Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to project timelines, safety standards, and quality control measures

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal building erection, framing carpentry, or related construction roles
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
• Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, masonry, drywall, siding, and remodeling projects
• Basic math skills for dimensional measurements and calculations required on-site
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards in construction environments
• Valid construction site experience with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately

Pay: $25.28 - $30.45 per hour
