G & J Development, Inc. is seeking an Framer to join our construction team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled individual with solid commercial framing experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and safety.

This is a full-time position working on projects in Tucson and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing work for commercial construction projects.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install studs and track according to project plans.
• Frame walls, partitions, door and window openings, soffits, and other components.
• Perform layout and accurately follow measurements.
• Read and work from construction plans and drawings.
• Ensure framing is properly aligned, level, and plumb.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on framing experience required.
• Solid experience with commercial framing and metal stud framing.
• Ability to perform layout and measurements accurately.
• Ability to read construction plans and drawings.
• Proficient with framing tools and equipment.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to travel to job sites throughout Tucson and surrounding areas.
• Must meet applicable pre-employment requirements.
