About Sandstorm Construction

Sandstorm Construction specializes in post-frame construction projects, including agricultural buildings, commercial shops, riding arenas, cold storage facilities, and other custom structures. We are looking for reliable and motivated Framer Carpenters to join our growing construction team.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and measurements.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials.
• Frame walls, roofs, trusses, and structural components for post-frame buildings.
• Install wall sheathing, roof sheathing, siding, and related building materials.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Assist with the installation of doors, windows, trims, and other building components.
• Follow construction specifications, building codes, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other construction crew members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Travel to construction sites as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in framing, carpentry, or post-frame construction is preferred.
• Ability to measure accurately and work with construction drawings.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials and working at heights.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and a commitment to workplace safety.
• A valid driver's licence is an asset if required for travel between job sites.

Working Conditions

• Full-time work on active construction sites.
• Physically demanding duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and climbing.
• Exposure to outdoor weather, construction noise, dust, and elevated work areas.
• Personal protective equipment and compliance with applicable safety requirements are mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• $25.00 to $45.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Full-time employment.

• Work on a variety of agricultural, commercial, and custom construction projects.
