Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures using a variety of materials and tools. Your expertise will contribute to building high-quality frameworks, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from residential to commercial projects, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and carpentry tasks
• Construct and install wall frames, floors, ceilings, stairs, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
• Perform concrete forming and finishing to create durable foundations and structures
• Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing materials with attention to detail
• Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or moving large structural components
• Conduct restoration work by repairing or replacing damaged framing or structures as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools, working at heights, or operating heavy machinery

Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of woodworking, concrete forming, drywall installation, and siding techniques
• Experience with construction site safety procedures and heavy equipment operation
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing rough-ins related to framing projects is a plus
• Knowledge of welding techniques for structural reinforcement is desirable

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
