Framing Carpenter

Job Summary
StoneGate Homes & Interiors is seeking an experienced and motivated Framing Carpenter to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for building the structural framework of residential and commercial projects, ensuring every job is completed with precision, quality, and safety. If you have a strong background in framing and remodeling and take pride in your craftsmanship, we'd love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Frame new homes, additions, remodels, and other structural projects.
• Install roof trusses, floor systems, wall framing, and structural supports.
• Build and install concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structural elements.
• Assist with rebar placement and concrete preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Perform heavy lifting and safely handle construction materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety guidelines.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum of 5 years of professional framing carpentry experience.
• Strong experience with residential remodeling and additions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred

• Experience with trim carpentry, siding, roofing, stucco, and restoration work.
• Knowledge of masonry, concrete forming, and rebar installation.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
