Framing Carpenter

We are currently seeking an experienced Framing Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in residential framing. As a Framing Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of our homes, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to building codes. Attention to detail and a passion for woodworking are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials
• Install windows, doors, and other structural elements
• Frame walls, floors, and roofs according to specifications
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience as a framing carpenter
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the trade
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and building codes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Must be able to work for long periods of time, often in physically demanding conditions.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment, and work at heights or in cramped spaces.
• Must be able to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials.
• Must be able to work safely at heights and in tight spaces.
• Must be able to safely operate a variety of power tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, sanders, and other machinery.
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials, including lumber, drywall, and other building materials.
• Must have a high level of attention to detail to ensure that work is accurate and meets quality standards.
