Framing Project Manager

Atlantic Wood & Timber is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is focused on managing wood framing projects for multifamily construction throughout the Southeast. This role is based out of Charlotte, NC with some travel required.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multiple wood framing projects from award through completion.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project
• Manage project budgets and financial projections
• Develop project timelines and schedules to meet deadlines and budget requirements, while maintaining quality standards
• Coordinate material procurement and deliveries
• Attend project meetings, both in person and virtually.
• Support superintendents and field crews to ensure successful project execution.
• Track and submit all subcontractor SOVs weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience in the construction industry.
• Previous experience with wood framing, rough carpentry, or exterior envelope projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and general computer applications.
• Experience with Procore, PlanSwift, or similar construction management software.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to project sites throughout NC, SC and occasionally parts of GA.
