Frappe & WordPress Developer (AI-Assisted)

About the role

BuildX is hiring a full-time, onsite Frappe & WordPress Developer to help maintain and improve our existing business systems. The role focuses on understanding existing code, using AI coding tools effectively, and delivering safe, tested improvements to Frappe/ERPNext, WordPress and WooCommerce.

Location: Unit C109, Global Construct City, Panipuan, Mexico, Pampanga 2021

Monthly salary: PHP 48,000–53,000, depending on demonstrated experience and capability

Key responsibilities

• Read, understand, troubleshoot and safely modify existing Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PHP and SQL code with appropriate guidance.

• Configure and customize Frappe/ERPNext DocTypes, forms, workflows, client/server scripts, reports, print formats, permissions and integrations.

• Maintain and improve WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including pages, themes, plugins, forms, product content and basic performance.

• Use AI coding tools to analyze code, investigate errors, propose changes, create documentation and accelerate routine development.

• Verify AI-generated suggestions through code review, testing, logs and staging before production use.

• Assist with REST APIs, webhooks, data imports/exports and simple integrations between business systems.

• Diagnose issues using browser developer tools, application logs and database queries, and document causes and fixes.

• Use Git for version control and follow backup, staging, testing and change-record procedures.

• Coordinate with users to clarify requirements, break work into tasks, track progress and prepare simple documentation.

• Escalate architecture, security and high-risk production decisions when senior review is needed.

About you

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

• Around 1–3 years of relevant web development, application support or business-systems experience. Strong fresh graduates with verifiable projects may apply.

• Able to read and modify existing code; practical knowledge of Python and JavaScript is important. Familiarity with PHP, HTML/CSS and SQL is useful.

• Frappe/ERPNext experience is strongly preferred; WordPress or WooCommerce experience is also important.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, Linux, relational databases, staging and backups.

• Able to use AI coding tools responsibly and verify generated code rather than copying it directly.

• Careful problem-solving, clear communication and willingness to work onsite in Panipuan, Mexico, Pampanga.
