Fraud Investigation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Implement, maintain, and improve compliance programs and risk management frameworks.
• Analyze data and transaction records to identify suspicious patterns, assess risks, and support compliance decisions.
• Monitor financial transactions to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud and other financial crimes.
• Investigate suspicious activities and transactions, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of fraud cases.
• Conduct investigations involving Card Fraud, Wire Fraud, Online Account Fraud, and Check Fraud.
• Identify and manage fraud typologies, including Identity Theft, Account Abuse, Account Takeover (ATO), Profile Takeover, and Scams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen internal controls and address regulatory and compliance risks.

• Gather and evaluate information from multiple sources to support investigations and risk assessments.

What You Must Have (Mandatory Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in fraud investigation, fraud analysis, financial crime prevention, or compliance.
• Proven experience investigating suspicious activities and transactions to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent behavior.
• Hands-on experience investigating Card Fraud, Wire Fraud, Online Account Fraud, and Check Fraud cases.
• Knowledge and experience identifying fraud typologies, including Identity Theft, Account Abuse, Account Takeover (ATO), Profile Takeover, and Scams.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
