Freelance Business Analyst – Retail Strategy / Financial Modelling (Poland)

We are looking for a high-calibre Freelance Business Analyst for a 2+ month assignment (June–July, potentially extendable) with a leading retail player in Poland.

Assignment
Support the modelling and factualisation of a store network value creation plan, including:

• business case modelling for growth levers (new stores, e-commerce, productivity, existing store performance)

• financial modelling / scenario analysis

• P&L and cash impact assessment

• KPI modelling and sensitivity analysis

• structuring management-ready analyses and recommendations

Location: Poland (hybrid/on-site depending on phase)
Start: June
Duration: 2+ months

Profile sought

• Strong analytical / modelling capabilities (Excel power user)

• Solid understanding of finance / accounting fundamentals (P&L, margins, cash flow, ROI logic)

• 2-5 years of Experience in strategy consulting / transaction services / corporate strategy

• Previous exposure to retail / distribution / consumer business strongly preferred

• Fluent Polish + English

• Freelance / immediately available

Former Analyst / Associate / Consultant from top consulting firms or top Transaction Services teams, or equivalent high-level analytical environment.
