Role Description This is a part-time, on-site freelance role based in Stanford, CA. The freelancer will support store and event activities, including assisting customers with product discovery, offering informed recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment. Responsibilities may include setting up product displays, preparing samples, supporting promotional events, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The role will also involve collaborating with store teams, sharing feedback from customers, and helping to communicate the Clarins brand story and commitment to responsible beauty. Flexibility in scheduling, reliability, and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service and client-facing experience, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized, respectful support.
• Interest or experience in beauty, skincare, or cosmetics, with a willingness to learn about Clarins products and brand values.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
• Ability to work on-site in Stanford, CA, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail, especially in merchandising and event setup.
• Comfort with basic point-of-sale processes and handling product inquiries; prior retail or event experience is a plus.
• Commitment to sustainability and responsible beauty, aligned with Groupe Clarins’ B Corp values.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks related to stocking and display setup.
