Freelance Interpreter

Zagros Language Services Ltd is looking for qualified and experienced Kurdish Bahdini interpreters and Kurmanji speakers to join our growing network of freelance interpreters.

The role involves providing accurate and professional interpreting between Kurdish and English for clients across a range of settings, including healthcare, social services, mental health, local authorities and other public services.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills, a good command of English and Kurdish, and a professional and confidential approach. A recognised interpreting qualification, such as Level 3 Community Interpreting or above, is preferred. Previous interpreting experience and a valid Enhanced DBS are also desirable.

Assignments may be offered face-to-face, by telephone or via video, depending on client requirements.

This is a freelance, self-employed position with flexible assignments offered according to availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
