Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and creativity
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and suggest retail products for ongoing maintenance
• Ensure all treatments meet health standards by following proper disinfection procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like nail extensions or dermabrasion, and industry best practices to continually improve skills

Skills

• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and salon safety protocols
• Experience with gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, and sanitation procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Proficiency in retail sales techniques including upselling products and services effectively
• Familiarity with esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or laser therapy is a plus
• Ability to work independently while managing appointments efficiently in various settings
• Good physical stamina for long periods of standing or working on detailed nail art projects
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards including disinfection procedures and salon safety regulations
