Freelance - Non-Music Generalist Annotator Audio Annotation

We are hiring Non-Music Generalist Annotators for an AI audio annotation project. Candidates will analyze audio recordings, transcribe speech, identify speakers, describe voice characteristics, and annotate non-speech vocalizations and environmental sounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe English speech accurately, including fillers, repetitions, and overlapping conversations.
• Identify speakers and recognize English accents and other languages.
• Analyze voice characteristics such as pitch, tone, pace, loudness, and emotion.
• Identify and timestamp vocalizations, background sounds, and audio transitions.
• Review AI-generated transcripts and annotations for accuracy, missing content, and errors.
• Maintain high-quality annotations while following project guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Excellent English comprehension and written communication.
• Strong listening, analytical, and observational skills.
• High attention to detail and timestamping accuracy.
• Ability to describe voices and sounds clearly and objectively.

Preferred Background: Linguistics, phonetics, voice coaching, audio production, transcription, speech evaluation, or audio annotation.
