Freelance Production Coordinator – Safety Video Projects

This role is ideal for an organized and proactive freelance production coordinator based in Munster, seeking recurring project work in the field of high-quality safety induction video production. You will be responsible for managing the logistics of on-site shoots for high-risk industries such as construction, manufacturing, pharma, and energy. Working closely with a solo video producer, you will take prepared shoot packs and translate them into actionable schedules and call sheets, ensuring all client requirements are met ahead of each shoot. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and welcomes applicants willing to travel within the region. Creative development and post-production are already managed, allowing you to focus on seamless shoot execution and client coordination.

Deliverables

• Develop detailed shoot schedules and call sheets based on provided shoot packs.
• Confirm client readiness, including gear, site access, and personnel availability.
• Brief videographers on project specifics and site protocols.
• Oversee and troubleshoot on-site logistics on shoot days to ensure smooth production.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and crew to preempt and resolve issues.
• Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met during production.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a production coordinator or producer in video or film production.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with high-risk industry environments (construction, manufacturing, pharma, energy) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in creating shoot schedules and call sheets.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Willingness to travel within Munster as required.
• Hybrid work flexibility (on-site and remote tasks).
