Freelance Sales Agent

About the role

Andaman Provisions Co., Ltd. is the Thailand agent for Leto Group, a Russian egg processing plant certified to FSSC 22000 and Halal. We hold stock of egg white, egg yolk and whole egg powder here in Thailand, and we are looking for someone who already knows Thai food manufacturers to open doors on their own schedule. This role is designed to sit alongside a full-time job.

Key responsibilities

• Open contact and arrange meetings with target food manufacturers
• Deliver proposals and samples — we prepare all of it
• Coordinate application trials with the customer's R&D team
• Follow through to the first order

About you

• You already sell food ingredients — you know the purchasing and R&D people, and you know how long a new raw material takes to qualify
• You sell something else into food plants — packaging, processing equipment, laboratory supplies, sanitation chemicals or certification services
• Independent food consultants, auditors and food technologists taking outside work
• Experienced ingredient salespeople who have retired or moved on to another field
• Fluent Thai, and enough English to read technical documentation
• Please check your own employment contract allows outside work

What we provide

• Proposals, specifications and certificates, ready to use in Thai and English
• Product samples and current batch Certificates of Analysis, at our cost
• Technical support from the manufacturer's R&D team
• Stock in Thailand, so a customer can place a first order from 100 kg without waiting for a container
• Travel and customer-meeting expenses reimbursed against receipts
